Jan 18th 2020 in the cold city of Sheffield I woke up hungry for food and the competition. I had scheduled a telephone interview with BBC Radio Bristol for 7.45 and had a pleasant chat about the competition before heading for breakfast. I had a hearty breakfast and then spent my day chatting to other athletes and waiting for my family and friends to arrive.
